It's been a while since I've owned a SIG, but I fixed that last week. Did some swapping and got myself a German framed P226 .40 and a 1911 Scorpion Carry. I am already looking at sending the 226 in for the CPO package and ordering the X-Change for 9mm. Right now, I'm a little more right with the 226 than any other gun I own. I'm thinking it is due to being crossed eyed dominate and the sig having the post and dot sight.

Eventually I hope to have a 227, 226 MK25 and already have a 229 on hold.

Question is, how many would basically alter a German framed 226?

Not sure why it took so long, but finally replaced (sort of) 2 of the first guns I ever owned.

I would have no problem altering a German (or any p226). Get the gun where you want it. If that involves some mods, so be it. I think you'll enjoy it all the more.

I would not alter it if it had sentimental value however.

Oh, and welcome back! I've traveled that road too my friend!
