Radian Raptor MPX Charging Handle (zero stock)

I've been looking for another Radian Raptor MPX charging handle but
they don't seem to exist.

Finally talked to Radian via email. They claim maybe July or August they'll
have stock. Something odd going on over there. Almost everything they sell is
out of stock. Supply chain issue I'm assuming?.

I dunno, I may just cave and go with the Next Level Armament.

Did they mention a price?
Ask @TacoJoe, I seem to recall he might have had a spare. I had placed my second one back order at Brownells and when it came in it shipped. Took a while but it was no big deal. The stock charging handle isn’t to bad to start with.

Just the price on their website. I think it's $89. You can find a cheaper price, but
no one has them in stock, Not even obscure web dealers.

Saw a thread on Sig Talk from a few months ago saying they weren't in stock.
That's one hell of a drought. Makes you wonder.

I’ve been looking for a Radian charging handle off and on for over a year now, never been in stock when I checked. Yesterday, when I was checking, I saw the NLA handles are in stock. I’m tempted to order one of theirs with the lifter block.

Any reason you seem to prefer the Radian unit over the NLA?

I saw a video on the NLA and block replacement. Seemed to be a lot of slop (play)
even after installing. I have the Raptor on my other MPX. Rigid with little slop.

But I'm with you. I may just go with the NLA anyway. If I can't find the Radian
I might as well. Nothing against the NLA in that it's still better than the OEM.

Worth noting the Trybe Defense handle is supposed to be identical to the NLA.
No block though.

In 2021 I was waiting forever to find one. Reached out to Radian and had a hard time even getting them to respond. After months I finally got one to ship…..and the post office lost it. So I ordered another one and it showed up. Then the first one showed up but I had to ship it back. last Year I think it was due to production issues. either way, good luck. Love mine, but had to wait months (like 8).
I know they stopped producing Np3 coated AR10 CH's.. no answer as for why!

The Geissele is just as nice but with better gas blowback reduction and they have been in stock, they were like 80' something during memorial day sale.. I bought mine a few weeks before for $119... lol
I just added the NLA charging handle and block to my MPX and to me its way better than the stock Sig charging handle. So far I am very pleased with it.
My local store has about five on the rack. They may be able to ship you one.

Give this guy a call. Seems like I saw a couple in his shop last week when I was in Branson, MO.

I started looking in the 3rd quarter of 2020 and wasn't able to catch one in stock at Radian till May 2021. Appears they get a bunch in and most are already consigned to distributors.
Very happy with it. The extra wingspan is needed if you are running any kind of rear flip up sight. Good hunting.
As of this August, Radian has the 'black' back in stock. The gray and FDE are oos.

And from what I’ve seen over the last two years, they are no longer making the aluminum eared version, plastic only.

I ******* hate Radian. As bad as they’re customer service is I can’t believe they’ve survived this long as the customer service disaster is a top down issue. I have one of their Talon selectors and it’s about 15* off of parallel (the right selector is canted 15* higher than the left) and when I tried to get ahold of them they simply refused to respond to 3 emails and 2 voicemails. You cannot speak to a real person, ever. **** Radian. They’re lucky their product is very good. But I no longer buy anything from them (and I have the ADAC lower.)

I have the NLA as well and while it’s perfectly functional, it’s a hideously designed alternative that’s way too big, but I’m sure some people would be fine with it.

I’d happily sell it if anyone is interested, brand new.

Not sure about their product version history, but their current description indicates the following:

Utilizing the same patented ambidextrous functionality as its predecessor, the Raptor-LT handles are machined from 7075 aluminum, MILSPEC Type III hard anodized, then over-molded with high-strength, fiberglass reinforced polymer for the ultimate combination of strength, weight, and durability.

Yeah - Radian's CHs are fantastic and I have one on my Virtus, but their customer service does indeed suck. Ordered a suppressor deal from them that took about 3 months for them to respond to a single email, only to tell me it was out of stock and they had to back out.
I'm a big fan of the Radian MPX handles in the all aluminum version. I'd just keep an eye out and setup a webpage change tracker to give you a heads up when they are available. Kept the originals until I could purchase all I needed and am happy now. Worth the wait.
