Problems with safety disconnect reassembly

615 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  dtrinski
I am trying to install the MCarbo spring set and ran into a problem with reassembly. The safety disconnect doesn't seem to fit in the cut on the FCU as seen in the installation videos I've watched. It is not seating correctly (see pictures). Any suggestions?
Thanks

You don't have it in the grooves. Drop the trigger bar, reinstall the disconnect by sliding it into the slot from the bottom. Relocate the trigger bar and install the trigger spring.

Duh....that was easy. So now I can't get the slide to go back on completely. It gets hung up about 1/4" from the end of the frame.....
