Slide it in from the bottom.

Duh....that was easy. So now I can't get the slide to go back on completely. It gets hung up about 1/4" from the end of the frame.....You don't have it in the grooves. Drop the trigger bar, reinstall the disconnect by sliding it into the slot from the bottom. Relocate the trigger bar and install the trigger spring.
