Congratulations! You've been on a buying spree, so must have deep pockets 😉, but seriously if you buy new unfired Sigs as an investment, then the sensible thing would be to not shoot them.

If you want something to shoot, get a used model, and the stainless models can be bead blasted, to bring back the matte look, after they get some "spot" polishing.

The choice is entirely yours!

i mean..... its too pretty not to shoot
It’s not cured!
I thought mine was after buying my grail gun and 3 weeks later I’m asking questions about adding a 9mm upper to a 229 or 320 (went with the 320 for now) then Willard mentions how I should buy a 226 because it’s a simple barrel swap between calibers. At least that’s how I interpreted his response.

yes you can just swap barrel/recoil spring (9mm) or you can get the whole slide(expensive)
I shoot mine often and love shooting it. Personally, I don't feel it's going to rise in value enough to go through the agony of seeing it sit in my safe and not enjoy it. Shoot it and keep it clean.

SSE SAO p220
Your call on whether to shoot or not. On mine I changed the grip panels to G10, added Grayguns straight flat trigger and broke front edges and rounded sharp rear sight corners. It is very accurate and a pleasure to shoot.

Nice snag!
Ya, I’ve been peddling my guns I’ve picked up years ago for hunting. Luckily I’m a snob, chose quality, treated them well, and I’m making a few bucks. If I were to have kept them unfired, I would’ve lost out of those memories of using them. To each their own.

any pictures???
Yea, I changed the grips on mine too, just to save the Rosewood grips from getting knicked up. Also installed a Armory Craft flat trigger and Sport takedown lever. The real smoothie was to send it to the Sig Armorer for a competition trigger job. So nice! I love Robert Burkes work.
Looks like Mine. It is a Lipsey Special. Not sure if they are still being made. MSRP was $1417.00
