P938HD

i have a couple P290rs pistols which I rather like, long DAO trigger and all. I recently purchased a P365 with MS which I think I am going to like quite a bit. My favorite small pistol is the P238, especially the P238HD. This post is just wishful thinking that Sig would at long last finally produce at least a limited run of steel-framed P938HDs. Based on my 238HD, I’m guessing it would weight at most 23 ounces loaded with a 7 round magazine. Certainly not much more. Oh, my! I‘d buy two. Maybe even three. Sigh.

Years ago, at Shot Show, SIG said they were going to come out with a P938 HD. They actually DID make 27 of them, apparently sold to employees. At least one of those was purchased by a member and posted about here. Don't recall the name though. I don't expect SIG will ever make good on their promise to make the P938 HD available for us peons, though it is the one new SIG that I would buy right now. I'd also pay a handsome price to get one of the 27.
