Damn, I've been waiting for these, but at $500 + barrel and RSA, I think I'll just get another P365.

Thanks for the update!Just got this email from Sig
Now Available: P365XL Spectre Comp Slide Assemblies
Now available for the first time on its own, the P365XL Spectre Comp Slide Assembly brings an exciting new technology to America’s #1 selling micro-compact pistol with a new Custom Works designed slide that features an integrated compensator. Not only does the compensator reduce muzzle flip by nearly 30%, but it also can never come loose or cause function issues, because of its uniquely integrated construction with the slide.
The slide also comes with XRAY3 Day/Night sights, is optic ready out of the box and is compatible with all P365XL holsters.
Available in Two Colors: Coyote Brown and Black
Slides are compatible with all P365 9mm models and configurations with the following accompanying items: 3.1" barrel and a P365XL recoil spring assembly. Barrels and recoil spring assemblies are sold separately.

There are a few out there. Most claim a real world reduction of 15 to 20% where I think Sig says "up to 30". I don't have an XL to compare it to but I will see how it feels when I get it.Considering this also...just wondering how well it really reduces muzzle flip...need to look for some reviews on the 365XL Spectre Comp gun.
This is pretty much the opposite for me. The high sights are a selling point as I will put an optic on it. Looking back to the release of the Specter Comp one of the biggest complaints I saw was from people that wished it came with suppressor height sights for an optic. As much as I wanted one, it's a pass for me.
Price isn't outrageous but the sights. The stock Spectre Comp doesn't have the high rear/front sights, why does the stand alone slide? I'de have to pay $499 for the slide, then another $100 for normal sights... too expensive. I'm happy with by Spectre non-comp slide and lived without a compensated gun for this long, I can wait a little longer.

I had planned to pay $400 for a Armory Craft. Then either buy or transfer over slide parts ($100) and then Suppressor height sights ($100+) so $500 is a pretty good deal. I would have thought they might release this at 6 or 7 hundred.
No problem if it's your cup of tea, just not mine. I don't shoot suppressors, don't use red-dots or other optics on pistols and simply a traditional iron sights kinda guy. This would be a carry gun for me and I could see the elevated sights impacted holster carry, slow down the draw and create other issues. What he said, co-witness (with Sig optic)
I totally agree with the idea of this not really being an ideal setup for a carry gun. The 365 SAS does that nicely for me and this would be a range toy unless it blows my mind...No problem if it's your cup of tea, just not mine. While I'd like to add a compensated handgun to the inventory, the slide isn't economical or practical for me. Will keep an eye on third party options but, again, lived without a compensated handgun so far and can wait.
Side note... it is a bit surprising that Sig didn't include the barrel assembly for the $499 price. It will be interesting to see how the pricing of the complete gun (without gold accents) will cost. $1099 or $999?
I am far from a 365 expert but aren't the X and XL grip the same thing?I totally agree with the idea of this not really being an ideal setup for a carry gun. The 365 SAS does that nicely for me and this would be a range toy unless it blows my mind...
I was also disappointed with the lack of a barrel and recoil spring but I have some spares so that made the decision easier. I purchased a non-ported SAS and then found a ported barrel and slide so I already have the non-ported 3.1 to apply to the specter comp.
I do need to find an appropriate X or XL grip module and am looking into the Icaurus X or XL offerings (of course the X versions are sold out)....
