This takes the x-compact off my list of things to get. No reason for it. I’ll get a macro and then fit all my 15 round magazines to it for the range. Honestly I think I’d prefer it without the comp though.

are there metal mag base pads available for the 17 round mags?
I wonder if anyone will make a 1 piece backstrap magwell, I think someone could pull off a very subtle small carry based magwell on the macro, and make an upgraded basepad / spring that can fit 19+1

Which holsters are better the plastic or the leather holsters which shows less wear on the pistol, which is the better one of the two?

Tactical Development makes aluminum base pads for the X Macro 17-round magazines as well as a 1-piece magwell. I bet Magguts will eventually have a +2 conversion spring kit available for the X Macro 17-round magazines which will be on my list to get sometime down the road based on my experience with their magazine springs for my P365s and G43.

Is that grip aftermarket or did you send it to someone for engraving? Sorry for the repeat question. I lost your reply where it came from. I'd like to get one for my X Macro.
Side question; What are your thoughts about the Holosun 507K versus the EPS Carry? I think I prefer your EPS carry. I tried a green reticle 507K on mine and it's fine but I think I pick up red better and the EPS carry looks more robust without being much larger. Thx!

It's a factory Sig grip module. DK Custom Coatings did the stippling and cerakote. They have a website, check it out. You can sign-up to get a notification with your email if they are out of stock. I waited about a week before they came back in stock. They are very responsive if you email them directly with any questions. I will be a return customer for sure.
I like the eps carry because it's enclosed and will be easier to clean for a carry gun. Other than that, to me, I think they are about the same. All the Holosun's I have are green, my eyes just seem to prefer that color.
Thanks for the info. I am bookmarking DK Custom Coatings website now and will give one a try. I Love yours! But I will probably not have the gold hardware. Was that from from a Spectre or are those parts aftermarket too?
I might try and EPS Carry at some point. It would be a pricey 'luxury' at this point since my 507K is all dialed in and works just fine. I don't have any other pistols to put it on. The EPS Carry looks really solid too. Thx again!

The gold parts are from Sig Candy. They have other colors available also.
I just emailed DK Custom Coatings. The Burnt Bronze, Tungsten and Sniper Gray look good too.
