You can get an XL grip module if you want a shorter grip. I went straight from a P365 to the X-Macro and really enjoy the larger grip. Also, with my Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.5 holster at 4:00 and my preference for loose shirts, printing is minimal.

Of course, if you’re running an XL grip with a 17-round mag, you’re back at a longer effective grip.

The 45 has been my on and off duty carry for years. Thanks to the Macro it is going to be retired to duty use only. Sig knocked this one out the park.

Solid range day with the Macro. Plenty of work getting used to the new sights (Wilson Combat blackout rear and green Trijicon hd xr front) and drawing from my new trex arms ironside holster.

tlr7a looking perfect on that macro, was debating between that and the sub, 7a honestly looks better imho

the sub is a little bit longer, but its a little thinner than the 7a, 7a mounting is more solid and brings the light back further than the sub, so the sub is noticeably more forward, the 7a has more weight, which I think is perfect for the balance of the Macro with a 17 rd mag out the bottom back half

I am pretty set on the tlr7a and trex arms holster

I can't leave well enough alone. I was going to wait until I got a spare frame to try this but I'm impatient. I smoothed and polished the undercut and the space underneath the beaver tail and texture matched the stippling. Overall I'm pleased with how it turned out and consider the extra grip a significant improvement.

Man, that 320 compact really is not much bigger than the X Macro is it? Looks about 10 - 15% smaller than the 320 compact you have there. Obviously it is wider and heavier but it only has 15 rounds compared to the 17 rounds of the X Macro...

The 320 has a flared magwell so I believe that’s a full size grip on the 320. They both hold 17rnds if I’m correct.

Yes, that's the "Carry" (which is equivalent to the M18) not "Compact" so its uses the standard full size 17rd mags.

They may look similar in size but the 320 is bigger all around...

yea I was thinking this yesterday, the Macro is in this very weird category, it is basically very similar length and height wise to some more full size guns like g19,p01,p320 but it is so thin, like in between a g43x and g48

looking at it yesterday I really considered it a micro p320 more than anything

it does not displace the XL with a 14+1 flush magguts.. its such a minute difference in size but it goes from the XL being a comfy pocket gun and fitting in a fanny pack etc to the Macro being questionable.. its barely any bigger but just enough bigger it changes things.

personally, I can't wait for the Icarus Ace metal macro frame, manual safety + eps carry + tlr7a/sub, a nice holster and maybe an upgraded slide and this is the closest thing I think we will see to a custom micro 2011 (BUL / Atlas etc)

SIG would be smart just dropping one - Macro Legion custom works or something

curious to see if a frame is dropped that allows a comp to be used with the 3.7" barrel, bringing it to maybe 4.15"
