P365 with Leupold Deltapoint Micro/DPM?

1614 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  BitOfANoob
Has anyone successfully installed a DPM on a P365? I have searched unsuccessfully for a few hours on the internet and found nothing. Sent messages to Leupold and received no useful responses other than, "we plan to release variants for other pistols."

This is really odd to me...the P365 is supposedly the #1 selling handgun in the US. Is Leupold REALLY ignoring its largest potential untapped market?

The Leupold is not a direct fit on the P365. It is too wide. You can install one with an an adapter plate. This is not my favorite mounting method as it raises the sight. I have done it with a few RMRs.

It is true that it is not a direct fit, but the statement that it is too wide is incorrect. I believe you are referring to the Deltapoint Pro. This is not the case with the Deltapoint Micro.

You are correct. I was thinking of the Pro.
Leupold is competing with a pretty saturated market that includes Sig Sauer in a world where many people still prefer their irons. The DPM has garnered 30 reviews on their website since 2021. I'm pretty sure the reviews from both versions are combined, so that's 30 total.

Between the versions of the Deltapoint Pro model there have been 345 reviews posted to the website since 2020.

Not everybody who makes a purchase is going to leave a review directly on the manufacturer's website but, 345 sales @ $500 a pop is less than $200 grand total, and then you have to consider out of that 200 grand how much of that had to go into development and manufacturing and potential staffing costs.

On amazon, the DeltaPoint Pro has 534 global ratings. The DPM on the other hand has 69. A Holosun 510C has 1,559 global ratings. A Vortex Venom has 4,445 ratings.

Now, I don't have any of the sales numbers or anything like that so I'm taking that all with a grain of salt. But especially when we're talking about a platform where only two models come without an RMSc optics cut and they're sold with a Romeo zero included, I wouldn't hold my breath on this one.
