p365 PMM Comp Set Up Question

2116 Views 6 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  oo10inz
Hi all, wanted to gather a consensus from those of you that are running a PMM Comp set up. Is the DPM recoil spring a necessity for 100% reliability? My set up would be as follows;

PMM p365 comp and barrel
p365 factory slide milled for RMRcc
p365 factory recoil spring
RMRcc
X-ray 3 suppressor height sights
Wilson Combat XL grip w/ weights
Thank you all for your input in advance!

I have a PMM comp & barrel set up on one of my Compact P320s. I use the OEM RSA
but on a full size grip module and it runs fine. But the odd thing I have is that it's not 100% reliable when using my Carry module.

I have PMM Gen 2 P365 and P365XL barrels and comps. I also have a bunch of captured RA and OEM RSA’s ranging from 14.5 lbs. to 18.5 lbs. Additionally, I have DPM springs. It’s been my experience PMM works in any reasonable spring configuration. The issues I’ve seen have been associated with new slide and fcu combinations. If the slide and fcu isn’t broken in there are typical issues associated with a break in period. When I run PMM on a reliable slide and fcu it is flawless. PMM says all their barrels and comps are designed to work best out of the box with stock parts.

Same. i have one on a 320 and it runs perfectly, steel, aluminum, brass, shoots it all. i’m hoping the p365 variant will do the same.

Thank you sir i appreciate the response and gives me hope that it’ll run fine with the factory RSA as that is ultimately what i wanna use.

Did anyone ever try the 380 RSA?
