P365 380 Speedloaders

3915 Views 11 Replies 11 Participants Last post by  Mcriderhb
Just picked up my new Sig P365 in .380. I tried using the included speed loader to fill up the two 10 round mags and it wasn't all that easy. I'm wondering if anybody with a .380 has found a really good aftermarket speed loader, and if you own it....how does it work?

I'm hoping Speed Beeze with come up with a .380 version for the P365.

I bought a Speed Beeze for my 365 9mm and works great for it but will not for the 380. Ended up getting a UPLULA and now I use it for both. Wish I would have bought it to begin with.

It says 9MM to .45 but I use this with my .380 and it works fine.

Thanks for the info guys. After reading that I remembered that I own a Speed Beez for my Sig P320x Compact 9mm. Thought I'd give it a try. When I put my P365 380 mag in normally it wouldn't work. Then I tried a hunch. I pushed in on the Speed Beez mag lock button and was able to shove the mag into the loader another 1/4 inch. I then held pressure down on the table top to keep it shoved in all the way and was able to load 10 rounds of .380 with ease. Once full, I pulled the mag back down until it locked into the loader, pushed the button again to release and pulled my fully loaded .380 mag out. I may still buy an Uplula but for now this works great.

Got 3 Upula speed loaders: #1-380; #2-9mm and up: #3: for my 9mm CZ Scorpion which uses a CZ mag.

UpLula for the win. There are some others out there, but the Lula, and its variants, all work well.

Agree with the loader not working. I have never had such a difficult magazine to load. My wife can't load it all. The Uplula is too wide and makes it awkward. The spacer in the mag causes it to rock the nose up and blocks the next round being inserted. Hope we can come up with something.
I use the UpLula with all of my Sig's.

I solved this problem by modifying an Uplula 1911 adapter.
I used my Dremel to grind out the inside area of the 1911 plastic adapter to fit the P365 mag for a much better fit.
