P365 .380 ejecting casing against right edge of optic

I have a P 365 .380 and the ejection pattern is causing casings to strike the right outside edge of my Holosun 507K. Does anyone out there who owns a 365 .380 having this problem.? It's happening almost every round. The casings are not hitting the lens. What I've done the last 2 times I've gone to the range is wrap a couple of layers of blue painters' tape around the optic and as long as you keep both eyes open you can still see the dot and the target. Has anyone heard of this problem? Thanks

The 365 is so short there is not much room between the ejection port and the optic hood.
The 365 ejection pattern isnt really tunable the way a 1911 is.
Some 365's hit the optic, some dont. Nature of the beast.
Other than visually it wont hurt anything. ALL optics will show wear if carried and more so if shot alot.
This one is 3-ish years old. Ive shot right at 6,000 with it, loaned it out to several friends to try, no idea how many they added.
Back when I first got it battery life was a big topic so I decided then I would run it until the battery failed just to know.
Still on the battery that came in the box with it.
IMO your fighting a losing battle trying to keep it pristine unless you want to keep it locked in a safe.
The 1st couple dings hurt but then it started looking like good solid honest wear on a well used tool so I succumbed lol
If you shoot/carry it alot, this is your future. YMMV

I don’t see it happens on my friend 507k either..
Btw .. I would check recoil spring unit and ejector. ?

Do you have the 9mm or 380? mine is the 365 380 and of the last 100 rounds fired 75 have hit off the right front edge of the optic my friend watched and counted I would say there was a problem. By the way how do you like that romeo zero elite? Thinking about getting one.

I think it's a normal behavior for a micro compact gun. I see some g43x with the shield red dot doing the same.

I see you have the Wilson Combat grip me to. The original grip had marks all over it after a couple of days. If I can get the ejection pattern fixed I might put on a Romeo Zero Elite it looks nice.

I switch back and forth Sig XL and WC X module .. I find stock Xl is easy to conceal
Original grip is too small , very uncomfortable to shoot ..
Simple, Call SIG CS and tell them what you told us and let us know what they say.
Heck I will just call them myself tomorrow and pose the question.
i think it’s normal as long as it’s not directly hitting the glass. Mine has scratch marks on the top right side of the metal frame from the same thing. I noticed this happening less when I keep it well oiled and lubed.
