In December 2018, I purchased a new P365. (Manufactured the same month.)
With one in the chamber, I find that my 12 round magazine, with 12 rounds, is difficult to "click" into position. My colleague has the same gun/mag and experiences the same issue. The last 1/4" insert has resistance that will not allow for a quick magazine exchange, without a real struggle to "click" in. For 30 years, daily, I have toted a gun on my hip. (Beretta 92F, Smith 38 Special, P228, P229, P230, Glock 19, Glock 19M) I have never felt this type of resistance in any gun. (Obviously not the 38 Special
My standard 10 round and 10 round extended lip magazines, with one in the chamber and loaded with 10 rounds, do not experience this resistance. When I load with 11 rounds, in the 12 round magazine, it clicks perfectly, exactly like the 10 rounders. Obviously, the last round is holding the magazine off from a smooth "click" transition.
I am using Federal Premium LE 147 HST.
Has anyone else experienced this with the 12 round magazine?
Thanks!
