P320 trigger suggestions please!

Okay folks, now that I have my optics question resolved I’m on to the trigger! I’m not happy with the factory trigger - feels mushy to me. I don’t want / need a 3# competition trigger, but would like something that is crisper than the factory. I’ve heard lots of good things about Grey Guns, and spoke with them today - they recommended their trigger only without the spring kit: P320 Adjustable Straight Trigger. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it really as adjustable as claimed? Other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Mike

P.S. if it matters, mine is a P320C, and I use it for range shooting, maybe occasional carry.

This probably doesn't help you, Mike, but I thought I would share my experience.

I swapped my curved triggers for Sigs flat trigger and like it much better. I tried the flat trigger because my finger ached after longer range sessions. The flat trigger made a big difference.

Regarding trigger performance, I later tried Sigs enhanced flat trigger, which offered a lighter trigger press. I really didn't care for it, as I use all my firearms in my carry rotation, and I prefer similar triggers for carry.

However, I did recently fully disassemble my P365 and P320-C for a thorough cleaning, and reassembled dry. Since the internal parts don't move much, I see no need to lubricate them. A little grease on the sliding parts and I'm good to go. This smoothed out my triggers significantly.

Thanks for the reply … good data. I have a flat trigger on my 365XL and it is fine. I was looking at the sig flat triggers too … they seem very similar to the Grey Guns triggers, to my eye anyway.

I installed a Grey Guns competition trigger kit and I'm happy with it. The trigger pull effort was reduced and it feels crisper. The reset was not changed much.

The gray guns straight trigger is awesome. The sig flat trigger is based off it, but the finish is better and the edges are rounded so its way more comfortable on your finger. Its adjustable for overtravel only but I find it doesn't really have any to begin with. The kit's sear takes away the pressure wall so its smooth until it breaks which I love. Great kit and a friend that just tried it loved it as well. Bought his own after. (he likes having that pressure wall so he left the sear stock.)

I run a stock FCU with an Apex flat trigger shoe and I can definitely recommend it. I’ve got about 8k rounds through it over the past couple years and no issues. I like the little kick out at the bottom of the shoe.

I have shot quite a few p320s with the Apex bar kit and the break is much crisper than the stock fcu, so that is on the table, but I keep buying ammo to train with instead of the trigger bar.

Armory Craft dual adjustable trigger. Fantastic for the price. And probably the best trigger I've used on the P320

I've replaced all my triggers with the Armory Craft flat adjustable triggers. They are awesome!
First off I love Armory Craft products but I found the Gray Guns Curved is smoothest for me in competition. I personally have tried a lot and spent a lot to get to my conclusion but what matters is what is smooth for you.
