OK, so we know you can get a P320 in 357 Sig on the 9mm platform. But how many of you would be interested in a Super 38 on the 45 ACP platform? All the power of the 357 Sig, but with the magazine capacity of the 9mm. What's not to like?

Your thoughts?

Super 38, or 38 Super? Not sure an extra round or two is a real big deal if you're throwing a 9mm bullet at 357 Sig velocities, or a 40 at self defense round weight/velocity. The object is to hit the target, not blanket the environment with cover fire.

There was a time I wanted a 38 super but that time has come and gone . With 357sig will out perform the 38 super and 40sw being able to cover any thing the 357sig can manage with a 135gr 1400fps + load or heavier 155gr 1300fps + loads . One reason I have carried a 40sw since '91
HardLuk has the right of it. Better bullets both above and below the .38 super exist and the 357 SIG is more accurate as well.
The 125 Speer on Underwood far outshines the older cartridge.

I had to do a double take when you said P230. I know what you meant, but owning a 230/232 I think the recoil on a small blow-back pistol like that (think Walther PPK/S .380) would take your hand off. Heh Your idea is intriguing. It's a shame all calibers -- .45 ACP in particular, don't work with the same grip modules as 9mm, .40 and .357.

I went up there and fixed it. Thanks for your sharp eye. In my defense, my daughter does call me Mr. Potato fingers....

For the 10mm wanta have guys Bump your recoil spring up and shoot 45 Super . Can't go as lite a bullet weight as 10mm but then a 10mm can goes nearly as heavy as a 45 ether .
If you have a gluck in 45 acp buy a 40super barrel then if a 135gr at 1800fps up to a 200gr at 1300fps
