P320 FCU

Just bought a p320 today and I went to take out my FCU and it’s stuck in there or really hard to get out. Looked at YouTube videos to see how to take it out and everyone’s looked super easy to take out. Any hell?

Remove take down lever, the push forward and up on back of trigger is how I do it.

Talk to the fcu while you wiggle the fcu out.

you gotta finesse her a little bit and she’ll come right out.

get the tool made by the Sig Armorer. It is well worth the money. Saves headaches for sure. P320 Accessibility Tool | The Sig Armorer

After the slide and takedown lever have been removed, grab the rails (from the rear) and pull up and back

I had one that was very tight in certain frames when new. Leather work gloves and pull up on the rails to protect your fingers from any sharp edges.

Better tight than loose.

This works as does the Sid Armor’s tool.

My Custom Works FCU is very tight in all grip modules. I bought a Sig Aromorers Toll just for that FCU. My “regular” FCU’s seem a bit less tight.
My easy way to remove without a tool.

1. Remove slide and takedown lever.

2. Put the slide on the two front tabs of FCU.

3. Lift the slide to rotate the FCU and it should come right out.

I just slide a small punch or a plastic pry tool under the rail and pry it up.

Who is Sid Armor and why is his tools so admired?
