I recently purchase a P320c RX in 9MM, which is lots of fun to shoot and I'm very happy with my purchase. Earlier today I called Sig to inquire about purchasing another slide with only regular height night sights for occasions when I would prefer carry or shoot without the red dot. I am aware that I can remove the red dot from the slide but would prefer just have another slide. Sig stated that they do not sell slides for any of their guns and that I should buy a conversion kit. I do not need another barrel or recoil assembly for a compact 9mm. The question I have is would the slide on the .40 cal compact conversion kit work with my 9mm barrel, recoil assembly, etc?

The topic of pushing the boundaries of modularity has come up a number of times in various threads.

Will it function? Yes, it appears so.

Should you do it? There are differing opinions.
