Anyone here have any experience changing the thumb safety to either ambidextrous or one suited for a Right hand shooter? I have a little Pink Pearl here and it only has the thumb safety on one side for right handed shooters.

Converting in either direction is relatively easy, requiring an inexpensive new safety lever for a P938 and a P938 hammer pivot pin. These parts are available from SIG in black or silver. You will also need to modify your right grip with a "cut out" for the right side of the safety lever.

The replacement is also easy, I've described it for the P938 (going from ambi to single sided) - if you do a search here you'll find the instructions.

And finally, there are probably P938 owners who would be happy to swap the needed parts to change their gun to single sided safety, so it might be done for the cost of shipping.

good luck,

bumper
