$950, in the current market, very fair, especially OTD at your LGS.
But, I would never trade in the Navy.

agree. I paid 800 for it.Only getting $600 in trade value for a P226/MK25? It's no deal.
The SAS with wooden grips were 1st generation DAKs and not DA/SA, the Generation 2 as above, were OEM with E2 grips, IIRC.that and get the SAS w wood grips, keep the Navy
Unfortunately, shops generally give very low offers on trade in. They want to have enough room to still make a profit selling your "used" gun.agree. I paid 800 for it.
Glocks!? I thought profanity was prohibited here.I would never trade in the Navy, don't you have any Glocks to trade ?
Good idea regarding the SRT. You might save some money if you just have someone local to you install it. Save shipping etc. If you do send it to Sig, you might consider upgrading the sights during the same trip.I decided to keep the 226 Navy, and likely will never part with it as I served in the USN and, more importantly, love the gun as is. Only thing I want to add is an SRT and have contacted SIG CS about installing the kit. I know I could buy the parts but am not confident I could install it properly, YT instructional videos notwithstanding. Appreciate the advice I get on this forum; always knowledgeable and civil and appreciated.
