P229 Equinox

So this happened :) Was watching this P229 Equinox 40 cal at my LGS and stopped by Friday to make it happen. And the price was dropped by $100 from last time I saw it. Ended up $695 out the door. After looking at this over a week ago and knowing I'd be coming back to pick it up, I ordered G10 grips from Grayguns and their Fat Strut & Seat hammer spring/strut system.

Got her home, taken down, cleaned up ... hardly any rounds through this .... replaced the barrel with a .357 Sig barrel I have had for a while, waiting for the right deal to come along. And voila ... now to get to the range .......

Great buy here in Atlanta area all my LGS are way over priced on used Sig's.

Great pistol and price too! Most going for $750 to $1000 now days. Early SigArms with German frame are the most expensive.

I guess in a way, it's giving fate a chance. But be careful with that. Maybe it's not as much of a risk with a used handgun in the $700-$800 range but people like to snatch up the guns I find myself impressed by but don't want to commit to at the time.

I almost overlooked your thread, down here in "Guns", I guess it's due to fewer posts in the general Sig Pistols area, I tend to wander.
