Oh yes it is. Make no mistake, the Germans designed the P229. It was first manufactured in the U.S. (the first SIG model to be produced here), but unlike most of the SIGs that came later, it was/is a German design (hence a German gun). Some Glocks are made in the USA, but we still consider them Austrian firearms. No one considers a Glock an American product even when it is manufactured here. Although later SIG designs were designed in the U.S., the P229 was not. Same thing with Beretta and some others.It may have a German frame but the P229 is not a West German gun. And the solid milled stainless slide is 100% American.

Given the apparent condition, I would consider that a good price.i am aware of that is $625 a fair price?
