P226 doesn’t Fire after assembly

442 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  mattrix
update: it’s just the magazine safety on mk25ca :)) lol
I hope the video work
After I change the sear, safety lever, and main spring, I can’t pull the trigger. When hammer at decock position, I pull triger and hammer doesn’t cock. When hamer cock, I can’t pull trigger to fire.
I what video to assemble but still not figure out why not work.
Have any idea?

Your question was answered on Facebook, there is a good chance you do not have your Hammer Strut properly placed. Plus make sure your Trigger Bar Spring is properly placed.

I did follow your short video on Facebook, but your hand was blocking my view, of what I was trying to focus on.

Instead of dealing with a video, shoot a couple of photos, one with the right grip removed, showing your Trigger Bar, and Spring. The second, with both grips removed, and the pistol resting on its sights, with the focus on the Hammer Strut passing through the frame.

For example...
