P-227 G-10 Grip Install

Hello everyone! I cannot for the life of me find my P-227 e-2 grip removal that came with the pistol. I would like to install some G-10 Grips but I have no clue what I am doing.
Any input, advice or help is wanted!

A "Tuber" w/o mechanical abilities would "GOOGLE "the task

Remove the magazine
Make the gun safe
Check again that the gun is cleared & safe

A credit card or a couple Q tips are required for the task
insert a plastic object into the mag well & pry up 1 side of the grip
insert credit card or tip to hold the grip away from the frame
repeat the above on the opposite side of the grip
slide the top of the grip(above the web of your hand) off the frame
Bingo
allotted time 30-35 seconds.

IF,you do NOT have grip screws & nut plates...STOP...until you acquire the hardware.

I use a pair of pliers and a couple of zip ties. Look into the mag well and you can see the cut outs where the E2 grips fit in. I use the pliers to push them up, slip the folded zip tie between the grip and the frame, then do the same on the other side.

Takes about 30 seconds…

Yep yep. Watched a guy at my LGS do it just like this. No grip tool needed. :)

The Sig logoed Hogue Tac Ops grips are nice. You’ll need grip screw bushings. Recently, Osage had 227 parts kits available and the bushings are supplied in that kit.
