I've got a quick question about the original solid guide rods for the P226. Does the following part number "34260510" come in different calibers? I've got the 9mm version and came across a guide rod and the seller said it will only work for the .40 and .357 models.

Is this a true statement?

Thanks,
John

I don't know about that part number guide rod, but the current hollow guide rod is used for all P226 calibers and the P220.

Don't know why the solid one would be caliber specific.

As far as I know, Sig doesn't sell solid guide rods as an aftermarket part. I tried to order one from them directly recently and was told it was standard on the Legion series (which i knew), but that I'd have to go to "another source" for a solid guide rod for other P-Series pistols.

Thanks everyone... These solid guide rods will come up for sale sometimes. I'm going to buy it and if doesn't work out, I've got a couple of buddy's with different versions of the p226 that can use it.

Thanks again,
John

My new P220 SAS Gen 2 Carry came with a solid machined guide rod. It was a pleasant surprise. :)
