Just got back from the NRA last night. One of the highlights is putting up our stickers on the inside of the garage door. Since nobody ever appreciates it but me, I thought I would post a photo of several years (and 3 in a row) of stickers that my son and I have collected from the NRA. Every one has a tiny story of meeting Les Baer or Ronnie Barrett, or someone being nice to us or giving us something (maybe even only the sticker itself).

(not ALL of them are NRA/Firearm related, sometimes we get stickers elsewhere and attach them also, but MOST are from NRA Meeting). This section below is a closer up of the ones we got THIS year. Although they are in no particular chronological order and sometimes we just stick them where there is a spot. Some of them dont show up in the picture on the white door.

I hope that garage door never needs to be painted, it would be sad to loose those cool stickers.
Our game is that we always get at least 2 of each one that we put up. I have a "backup sticker collection" (at least of all the ones gotten at the NRA) in case such tragedy were to ever occur!

Each year I have "favorites". in 2015, the red white and blue Sig sticker was my favorite. Last year it was all the political stickers, and this year--Wilson Combat, Barrett, and (for some reason) the Gunbroker sticker right in the center. Maybe b/c I seem to visit Gunbroker daily?

My son and I love our sticker collection. Almost no one but us EVER sees it. I was a bit apprehensive about even posting the picture. Thank everyone for commenting, makes me feel good. It is, of course, just one of those dumb little things you do with your kids, but those are really some of life's great pleasures!

Properly pro-gun and conservative - I like that.

But I noticed you don't have a single potsticker or

Yep. If pro gun and conservative is a good thing, then I am your man. No pot or peace stickers--although I am really not THAT against pot and certainly all for peace. I am more of a live and let live kind of guy. I will say that I have spent time in Denver and Seattle both before and after legalization of pot and I strongly prefer the "before" in both cases. Full disclosure--I have never (even once) smoked pot.
