Have any of you ever taken advantage of this?
I just submitted my form, and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the turn around time for this program?
I understand Sig CS is supposed to contact me within a week, but from there, how long until it actually ships?

Thanks.

I don't know about their instructor discount program, but the IOP list guns are made to order. They are not a stocked item. So your wait can be anywhere from a couple weeks to a year or so, just depending on when they do the next run on the type of weapon you select. I once waited about 9 months before cancelling the order for a P229 no-rail in .357 SIG under IOP. They have no time estimates on IOP waiting lists and will tell you that up front if you ask. It's very much luck of the draw, which is why I don't use the IOP list even though I qualify for it...there is a better way to get a SIG LE/ Mil discount that is not the least bit random. ;)

Guess we all wonder why Sig would continue the special programs, if they don't produce wpns to cover the demand on a periodic basis, waited 10 months, for a 320CA 9 FDE, dealer says should ship in May. Lesson learned, buy local.
