I heard back. Individual is really used low count says description says like new.
Guys only got 2 feedback as a seller. Probably not an ffl. Someone who tries to flip. Personally wouldn’t touch it

Well, used is NOT New Old Stock, which is what it's listed under..

Run the other way! Look for a reputable seller with lots of feedback, someone who can post a decent number of pictures, and someone who will take credit cards (which at least give you some recourse if the seller tries to screw you).

He did reply to My questions. I've lost several good deals on GB that were individuals. My FFL Will Not Deal with Individuals that do not go thru an FFL.

I've bought several Sigs off of GB and several Dealers never posted feedback
Seeing that's all he has to offer, he's no doubt not a real dealer, just a flipper, but possibly has a FFL. In the description... "as new", means absolutely nothing, and the scars on the magazines indicate a bit of usage, whether on that pistol, or another is unknown.

If you are expecting New Old Stock... I'd walk away!

Ask for additional photos showing barrel/hood etc. Also ask if “like new”, why so much mag wear?

"New old stock" huh? Yep good call.

I usually steer clear of these sellers that have low reviews and sales. I may be
passing up on some good deals, but I find it disconcerting.

I sent the seller the below questions. He replied with what’s listed below.

I’m a bit confused by your descriptions. It’s listed as new old stock but then you say like new. NOS means new, like new means that it’s used. Is this a used gun? Two of the magazines look like they have been used with the one almost looking like it’s got some damage at the top.

Glad you asked. I meant to select used when listing the firearm. I can’t change it because someone bid on it before I recognized the mistake. The mags have no damage. Due to practice with mag changes, the mags paint is worn away in some areas.

Oh, that explains it then.
Well, you add least now know the gun has been “handled” quite a bit which explains the excessive mag wear. Not a gun that was locked in its box and lost in the back of the safe with factory oil on it.

Ummm - someone else may have relied on my mistake, so I can’t change the category???

He's correct about the inability to make changes to the original listing description, once there is already a bid placed. However, you can always make an additional note to the original listing clarifying any errors/mistakes, which is what he should have done. Failing to do so tells me he is full of it and just wanted to continue to deceive folks.

Mag practice changes? Funny the magazines I actually USE don't look like that. His "practice" must
include throwing them across the room :p
