NJ Resident Looking for Options

902 Views 13 Replies 11 Participants Last post by  saudadeii
First time poster here.....
I am a resident of NJ with the wonderful limit of 10-rounds per magazine. Now before everyone says "move out of NJ"....

Where are the 10-round options for this pistol? There are no magazines, there are no part numbers, there are no magblocks available.

Is there even an option anytime soon? When I call customer service at SIG - the response I always get back is "we have no information at this time"

Thoughts/concerns/comments?

When you purchase, the FFL will "pin" the high-capacity magazines to limit them to the legal 10-round state limit.

My local range and gunshop has 10-round SIG magazines for sale hanging on the wall. RTSP in Randolph.

Spoke with the store - they don't have 322 magazines in-stock and can't order them.
But she was very helpful! When I find magazines, I'll ship them there and have them pin-em.
There are 20-round magazines available at the Sig store online right now. Ship them now and have your armorer pin it for the 10-round compliance.

SIG won't ship a 20-rd magazine to NJ. As soon as you put the address in, it flags the order and won't ship.

In the meantime your neighbors in PA are having a blast. Sorry to hear that man. Do you know anyone (you can trust) in PA who are into firearms? Or I wonder why you're local gun shop can't order it with the guarantee that they will pin it. Ah too complicated...

You may find some on Gunbroker that will ship to your address. Or try the local
gun trader sites.

Call SIG, purchase the mags and have the mags shipped to them. They pin the mags and send to you.

The FFL should still be able to order the mags if they want to modify them for you. Thats if they feel like its worth their time as I run into the same roadblocks due to my state. Currently the threaded barrel is our roadblock.
Welcome from Colorado. Option #1 Move somewhere less progressive.

While it's possible on the centerfire magazines piunning the 22lr magazines is next to impossible. until the start shipping the ten round versions you're pretty much out of luck.
Or pic another firearm, one with 10 round mags available.
