I have looked all over the Internet for this, but I can't find a good video or walk through. I have seen older models of the p229 and the distractor/pin/spring looks different than my current model. It is fully enclosed and doesn't have space for a screwdriver like the older ones do. Mine also has what appears to be a pin on the top of the slide, while older models don't have a pin on top at all. If you guys happen have any tutorials or videos, or can help point me in the right direction I would appreciate it a lot! Thanks!!

Oh yeah, here is a pic of the distractor on my model. Fully flush with the slide and no room for a screwdriver/sig armor's tool.

sorry I am terrible with the terminology. Extractor. not Distractor. I feel that much more stupid now. oh well. I hope to figure it out soon!!!

Thanks for the link.....

Man, I am missing that Glock design right about now!
Actually, my 220 does not have this newer style extractor, so I do not know why I am worried!

To have to replace some roll pins, just to clean the extractor?
How often are you going to actually clean your extractor, if you have to go through all that!
