New To Me MCX Legacy 300BLK

I was at my LGS and they had this on the wall:
Air gun Machine gun Trigger Gun barrel Shotgun


9" 300BLK MCX Legacy but wait there's more!
It came with:
5 300BLK PMAGS
90 rounds of ammo
Vortex Spitfire AR 1x Prism
Magpul MS4 QDM Sling
for $1449.00

I feel like I did well considering what I have seen on Gunbroker and the like. Plus, I have now entered MCX ownership so I can just snag a Virtus upper in 5.56 down the road.
How'd I do? And any tips/advice for a new MCX owner?

You did great! I have the same gun and paid way more than that. You’re gonna love it. Think about installing a suppressor. That will take it to the next level of fun. Congrats!

Yup I've had one in jail since September 🙃 but I am really looking forward to that combination!

What suppressor are you gonna put on it? I have a Nomad 30 on mine and I really love that. Very quiet.

Solid deal. I would have grabbed that without much second thought even without the extras. WRT the virtus; shorter upper doesn't really matter(FWIW the lancer carbon handguards only work on the legacy upper, but that may not be your thing) and the thicker profile on the barrel and the tapered bolt are pretty small upgrades for the premium you'd pay.

I felt good about it bit it's nice to hear from forum members that it was in fact a good deal. I saw that MI made Mlok rails for the legacy MCX's. Of course I can't find any. Are the Lancer ones easier to find?
