Probably a pipe dream. But since all the M17/M18 I have have the mil. optic footprint. I hope I can get one of these.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. Since it only works with the military optic footprint, it won't fit any other Sig pistol, at least not right now. Hopefully that will change in the future.

The other kick in the pants is the list price is estimated to be in the $600 to $700 range. That's awfully expensive, even if it is a great optic.

I know it's too much to wish for, but it sure would be nice if there were some sort of universal mounting footprint for red dots.
