So I've added a new Sig to the safe. It's got a Black Frame, SS Slide and E2 grips. The E2 grips feel great, but I first saw this model on The Outdoors Trader where a member had it for sale and it was pictured with the Hogue G10 Green/Black Grips. I have been looking at grips for days, trying to figure it out. The decision is, looks above function or function above looks... I want both. So I have ordered the Hogue Grips off of Ebay and in a few days I be removing the E2 grips and installing the Hogue ones. I tried to make myself wait, use the pistol like it was manufactured, but I have this vision of this pistol I first saw and my fate was sealed. Comments welcomed.
FYI, I recently bought a P229 Elite (which came with E2 grips), and I actually already had replacement grips for it before I picked it up. I had no intention of ever using the E2's. I ended up giving them away to a ST member.
Post a pic after you put on the green and black G10 grips. I would like to see how they look against the two tone pistol. Stainless finished slide, right?
