Alright The new P365XL is at my FFL and awaiting the background check! I’m super excited. I’ve got the following here or almost here for the pistol.

-Tenicor Certum 3 holster - gonna carry strongside
-Holosun 507k Red dot
-Wilson Combat grip module
-Wilson tungsten grip weights

Anything I’m missing? Should be a good setup. Looking forward to picking it up and throwing some lead!

Lol you are correct. Luckily got that covered. Planning on cheap ball for practice and Gold Dot 124 grain for carry - feeding quite a bit of it through the pistol to ensure reliability.

Shoot it first as is just to make sure. Then, swap out what you need. Nice pistol!

Magguts Spring Kit to increase your mag load for 12 to 14 without adding any grip length - I swear by mine - other than that ive done all the above and its ALMOST as good as my Sig P320 X-Compact RXP - with WC Grip - Tungsten weights and Gaspedal.

Oh yea you might consider the Tactical.Dev Picatinny rail...

You are more than good, enjoy and practice with that bad boy , the worlds a dangerous place, be Safe and welcome

Sounds like you got everything. I'd consider a short grip module as well and at least one 10 round flush magazine. With that configuration the XL isn't a horrible pocket option if you have the right pocket holster and the right pair of pants/shorts.

My XL has an aftermarket trigger shoe that has a flat face, vs the rounded face of the OEM straight trigger. But other than that that's the limit of any modifications I was willing to do with my XL.

I've since ripped the grip tape off the palm swells. I find a new way to get more traction out of the tiny things every couple of weeks. It took quite a bit of work to gain confidence with the platform personally with how small they are in my hands. The experience has made me much more efficient with a handgun though.

Sweet pistols!

I don’t intend to pocket carry this gun. I’ve got a P238 for that purpose. Nor do I intend on appendix due to personal beliefs about it. I plan on about 4:30 IWB. I prefer to not have a manual safety on the gun and seeing as most ND happen under duress while re holstering I’d rather not have to remember to sweep the safety back on as well as if I’m gonna accidentally blow something off I’d rather it be some butt fat.

I will temper that last comment that I don’t condone complacency or lack of training that would lead to that mistake either lol. Just can’t get comfortable with appendix.

Im a long time 1911 guy. First non safety striker here. It’s taken quite some research and thought to come to this conclusion.

It's a striker fired gun. The holster is the safety, and thus I disengage the safety once it's securely in the holster, unless it's my P365 in a pocket holster, in which case I leave it engaged. It's not like a short 2lb SA trigger stroke and a 2.5lb 1911 where it's cocked and locked at all times while in the holster. . It's a sub 2lb gun with a 4-5lb trigger pull of a longer length. The weight of the gun alone wouldn't be enough to make it go off if something got caught in the trigger guard. It would take a deliberate action of using just a little bit of muscle to try to overcome resistance.

Holstering is nothing that ever needs to be done fast. Fast drawstroke? Yes. Fast re-holster? Dumb. Take your time.. ensure your holster is clear of obstructions, watch it go in. If you meet resistance don't try to force it. The fight is over at this point, there's no need to rush the holstering process and risk letting a round loose that you didn't intend. If the gun is in my hand and I'm not shooting or preparing to shoot (as in I'm aiming the thing at something), index finger goes down the slide. Not in or on the trigger guard. Down the slide. Every single time. It's habitual at this point. By the time I have my sights on target I've already taken up the slack of the trigger to the wall, but in any other circumstance and especially as it's going in or coming out of the holster and not yet out in front of me I'm indexing the slide.

My safety is there when I'm chambering a round or extracting an unspent round, and it's there if I have the gun out of my holster for any reason other than to shoot. I still practice good trigger discipline. I still holster the same way I would my Glock 19. It's just an added layer of prevention until I get it into my holster, or it's there if I want to use one of my many pocket holsters that aren't quite as secure as the Kydex options i have for my belt.

But you do you. My manual safeties don't get in my way one bit. I'm not trying to convince you to install one or carry AIWB, but there's a reason I prefer Kydex on the belt, and there's a method to my madness. :)

You might consider an MCarbo trigger spring kit and flat adjustable trigger. Great setup.

I swapped out my Romeo Zero with a 407k x2. I really like it so far. I tried the Wilson Combat module but returned it. It created a hot spot near my left thumb (left handed shooter). I also felt the stippling was very aggressive for my taste. The XL is a sweet shooter. You will enjoy it.

Honestly I LOVE my Swampfox - its affordable- clear and so easy to use with large buttons - honestly i would be happy to buy it again and again - plus they have great customer service.

I Really dont have any complaints - just be sure to use blue locktote when you install it as the recoil on the small frame will loosen the red dot over time and since the battery is mounted underneath its essential to keep the red dot down.
Tenicor makes great holsters. I have both the Certum and the Velo4. I use the Velo4 daily as I tend to carry appendix. Tenicor makes the best holster I’ve ever used. If you’re in the market for a daily carry belt try their Zero belt. It changed my life concerning CCW.

No one likes the idea of blowing their …. off that’s for sure. Or nailing a femoral artery for that matter. Training and lack of complacency are key in general. I used to be uneasy with appendix but grew to love it for many reasons. It does makes me cringe every time I see a guy re-holster without paying attention but I feel that way when anyone does that no matter where they carry.

That said I completely understand some people feelings about it.

Tenicor in my opinion is probably one of the best companies all around and not just in the firearm industry - They do business rigjt! I ordered both the Certum and the Velo4 because i too carry Appendix EVERYDAY/ALL DAY but for me it just wasnt a LOVE it was a like they accepted both back - full refund no questions asked - for my P365XL i LOVE my TULSTER OATH - It even fit my tac.dev rail with some TLC - when i put it on my gun literally dissappears on my body sometimes i dont even notice im carrying it!
For my P320 X-Compact Romeo1 Pro i have tried everything under the sun and believe it or not settled on the Vedder(fits my gaspedal-too) with some love from my blowdrier for AIWB and for OWB i love my Upper Hand (concealed carry OWB) Holster - hope all these reccomendations have helped you in your journey and also saved you much time and even greater $AVING$...
