Factory installed too makes for easy swapping. Not that pushing the standard height sights is overly challenging, this is still convenient.

I did the same. It cost me more money, but no regrets. One other benefit I found with the Zev slide is that the serrations are more pronounced. I get a much more positive grasp when racking with, or without gloves. If Sig would have made this option available from launch, I would have gone with it. From what I understand, Sig manufacturers these slides and barrels for Zev, so they are make money either way.I wish they did it this way right from the start. I purchased a Zev Z365 mostly for the better optic cut. I found a great deal on a Zev, so no regrets, but I probably would've purchased a regular Sig P365X and saved a little, if it had the new slide.
Appears to be a gap in my view as well. Sealing plates are not common from Sig. They aren’t terribly costly but the point would be for Sig to include them from the outset to maximize value for customers (haha, typing that last point felt oxymoronish). Is it me or is there a gap under the optic in the pictures?
That will be in 3 years after they release a diamond plate version, a rainbow version, and an XL slide in .380 LOL. The fact that they didn't do this from the get go makes me realize why Sig pisses me off as a company (though Iam a P365 fan)Hope the XL comes out with no optic, and the options of completely stripped.

They actually ended up making it. Kind of impressed they listened to criticisms. Took a few years, but neat. I look forward to trying one out.Hope the XL comes out with no optic, and the options of completely stripped.

P365XL OPTIC READY SLIDE ASSEMBLY, COYOTE BROWN
Factory replacement Slide Assembly for the P365XL 9mm.www.sigsauer.com
This slide looks nothing like the ROMEOZERO slide I got from Sig Sauer, the front sight is too high, and the optic is too far forward and also has the integrated rear sight, this one does not. This looks like a cheap Chinese knockoffLooks like Sig is starting to phase out the rear sight-plate and opting for a proper set of irons. Interesting.View attachment 456532![]()
P365X, 3.1", ROMEOZero-Elite Slide Assembly - Black
Factory replacement slide for P365X including a pre-installed ROMEOZero-Elite optic.www.sigsauer.com
You're an idiot. That is a factory slide from Sig. They have suppressor hight iron sights and made the rear sight/optic plate separate. This slide looks nothing like the ROMEOZERO slide I got from Sig Sauer, the front sight is too high, and the optic is too far forward and also has the integrated rear sight, this one does not. This looks like a cheap Chinese knockoff
