I purchased a new P320 x-5 on 4/17. I took it directly to the range and shot 50 rounds through it. I had 8 light primer strike misfires out of 50 rounds. I was using Remington ammo that I have shot with no issue through my P365. I also noticed that the strike position on primer wasn't close to center on almost all of the spent casings. Anyone else have this type of issue?

I always take my new guns down to inspect, clean, and lube them before taking them to the range. Just guessing, but if your primer strikes are not consistently located, it sounds like the slide may not be completely/consistently locking up. I noticed wear marks on the outside barrel notches where it locks up in the top of the slide on my P320 X-Compact. My recommendation would be clean, lube with special attention to the points of wear, and give it some more break-in time.
