New P320 Compact

823 Views 11 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  Jslow
I just ordered a P320 Compact nitron that should arrive early next week. Apparently it comes with contrast sights, white dot. I want to replace them with night sights and was wondering if someone can tell me what numbers I need to order. Or, should I wait until it arrives and order the same numbers that are on the pistol? I just recently replaced the sights on my M11-a1 with Xray3's and am very pleased with the results. What say you?
Thanks,
Jon

I just installed Ameriglo SG434 Hackathorn sights on my compact slide. Green dot with orange ring front and blacked out rear. If you want something different I believe the front is #6 and rear is #8.

While I would suggest waiting to see what it arrives with, to be certain, what combination to order. From my observations, and that could be due to Sigs traditional policy, of waiting until way past being sold out of items, prior to ordering another batch being made... the X-RAY sights have seemed to disappear, from most vendors.

You may want to see how it shoots first, just in case you want to raise or lower the point of impact. Just a thought. Then you wouldn’t have to order more, you can just get the new numbers. The table on the site below can be helpful if you want to change the POI

Put the night fision on 3 of mine so far, 2 suppressor height. Love em!
I like Sig Xray3 sights too. They're made by Tru-Glo. I've put Tru-Glo TFO and TFX sights on several of my
Sig's. A few years ago I found the P220 Equinox came with a TFO front sight, so I put one on my Match Elite.

45 and 40 take a #6 front and #8 rear, 9MM and 357 Sig get #8 front and rear. However I've seen #6 F&R too.
I guess that's for a lower profile. The heavier (45 &40) bullets need a slightly higher launch angle.

Update:
Picked up the new 320c yesterday and the Xray3 sights I ordered showed up this morning. Replaced the contrast sights and took her out to the range. Shoots great and guess I got the sights right. No adjustments needed. Another couple boxes of ammo and should become my latest EDC

I shoot HK, Glock and Sig almost exclusively. I will say. My Sig XCompact is one of if not the most accurate pistol out of the box I’ve shot. Phenomenal shooting weapon if you ask me.
