New/Old Gun

In about 1986 I bought a Beretta 21A. I carried it for years in areas where carry was, hmm, not well tolerated. I lived in Denver, and mountain biked all over heck and back, in some very isolated areas. I put thousands of rounds thru it, flawlessly with high velocity ammo. I was in the LGS this week and I spotted a new one, wooden grips, with a threaded barrel. I had to have it, so...
At any rate, I now have another one. I already had 4 mags, but ordered 3 more from Beretta USA (20 bucks each, not bad.) I can't wait to take it out and see how it sounds with the suppressor.

When you find something that works for you, you stick with it. Glad you’re happy with it
How about a picture or two? Some of us are fishermen and need proof.

The 21a is one of my all time favorite pocket guns. Snappy little bugger
Never dealt with that model, but have on a couple of occasions, a cousin, the Beretta 950 with the 4" barrel. Both my cousin's husband, and another good friend have the same model. I had to replace a Firing Pin on my relatives pistol, and Magazine Release on my friends.

Even with the 4" barrel, they are east to conceal, but caliber wise, they are better than nothing at all...
It's a fun gun, not a carry piece.
I had the 950 in 22 short, wish I still had it. Wish the 950 came in 22 lr, because I wasn't a fan of the da/sa of the 21. I'd say the 21 is certainly a pure defensive weapon up close . Even though it's not a stopper per se you do have to factor in the FIBS and that cetainly will deter attackers. A elderly man or women with weak hand strength would be ideal Candidate to own one.
We can only have several serious carry guns but we can have many many fun guns.
I'm very curious how quiet it is with the suppressor and subsonic ammo, or even of subs will make it cycle. My old one loved Mini-Mags.
