I am a new member and a proud P365 owner. I am just an everyday, law abiding concealed carrier and a general enthusiast of firearms and firearm safety.
It is my opinion that the P365 is one of the finest pistols ever made. The engineering behind the small size and low bore axis, undercut trigger, the FCU, the aesthetics, the recoil impulse, I love everything about it. And despite its size I really like just bullseye shooting with it at the range even out to 20 yards!
I also wanted to mention some good news! I just installed the new Vortex Defender CCW 6 MOA RDS sight onto my P365X RomeoZero Elite slide assembly. I am happy to report that it is a match made in heaven. The way the optics mounting screw holes in the RDS fit over the “ threaded lug thingys “ on the slide (technical term lol sorry! ) the optic feels press-fit onto the slide, even before adding the screws and loctite. I am hopeful that this setup is reliable and durable and holds a zero long term. If so it will be a true winner for the P365 platform! I had issues holding and keeping a zero on my RomeoZero elite.
Early indications are that this may be the most durable and stable Slide-Optic interface available on the P365!
