Hi folks, glad to be here soakin' up chatter and shared smarts. Retired. Actually a revolver/.357 mag kinda guy, but haven't found a way to carry 20 + 1 or more in a wheel gun (yet). GI, duty carried .38 for 18 of 20 cop career, Beretta for last 2: never got used to the change. Worked part time private, airport open/uniformed carry. Got HK, Sig, Glock, couple other brands semi's: 9mm, .380, .32. Enuf. Thanks for all I'm gonna learn. :USA:

Ever shop at West Coast Armory -- Wades or both? Former AF SP?

Welcome from on the road from ridiculously liberal Washington to wonderfully conservative Texas. In Boise and very relieved to be moving to a place where our rep is a conservative military vet.

Love the S&W 686, 357 Magnum

Try a 357 SIG, for a semi-auto gun. P229, P226, or a P239.
