New Armalite AR10

So, this is my 1st ever AR10.
Ever since I sold my M1A Scout, I've wanted another semi automatic 7.62x51
I could've just gotten another M1A Scout. But, they're a tad heavy and I've really been wanting to but the Armalite 3 Gun AR10. So, I finally found one available on the Sportsmansguide for a very reasonable- if not the best price you will find one for now a days. & for any member her that doesn't know, if you are a club member of the Guide, you can buy any firearm on their 4 pay plan. & you cannot beat the Sportsmansguide's 4 pay. 4 monthly interest free payments and the kicker is they send the gun to you after the first payment! The Sportsmansguide makes it possible gents.
At any rate, I went with the 13.5" barrel although the break is pin and welded making it 16" oal. I've talked with a buddy on Snipers Hide that absolutely loved his. He regularly took it out to 600 yards and eventually a 1k.
He said they're super accurate. And, if they're anything like the .223 Wylde version then they certainly are. And, I gotta say, the Timney Trigger that came with this is just remarkable! It's even better than the one that came on the 223 Wylde I had. Gotta say fellas, Armalite gives you a lot of value in their 3 Gun rifles.
I just picked her up yesterday but, she feels so good and balanced. Not heavy at all. And that tunable break is awesome. I'm really excited to see what she will do at 100 yards. I'll post up some pics shortly. Man, I truly regret selling my 223 Wylde Armalite 3 Gun. But, it went to a really great dude and it helped fund another purchase. Anyway, thanks for letting me share. I'll have some pics up a bit later. But, here's one pic....

Congrats on your new rifle. She’s a beauty! I wish you many years of fun shooting her. Let us know how accurate it is after you hit the range. Enjoy!

Thank you, TacoJoe!
Appreciate that good buddy & will do! 😃
Congrats. Excellent rifle. I have a T model from years ago. I also have a M1A Scout. I think you will find the AR10 a much more friendly system and should see increased accuracy. Only drawback for me (I have the Armalite 10T; Noveske model; and an old Eagle Arms) is the weight. If you're not humping it around the mountains, excellent shooting, and fun. Easy to reload for as well.

Just me and my recommendation. On my AR10 T and the Noveske I shot 1, ran a patch through, 4 more and a patch, 5 more and a patch, continuing a patch every 5 rounds for the first 20 + rounds. Can't say with certainty if it helped, but both are really solid shooters off the bench.

It does very well with ball ammo. This was done during a 1 minute stop watch stage. I had two mag exchanges and it was fire as many rounds as you could within the one minute. I got off 34. Twenty five meters prone with irons and the pictured gi sling. I haven’t had the chance to try it at 200 yards with match ammo yet.

Love my older Armalite AR-10 with Burris XTR 3X-12X-50mm scope and Stainless Loaded M1A.

Congratulations! While I love the M1A, when it comes to using optics, the AR-10/AR-308, is the way to go, with the more appropriate stock design and alignment!

I took their Armorer's Course, back in the later '90s, and really fell in love with their 2 Stage Trigger, which was the only alternative in the early days to the Single Stage GI design used by most.

Of course, I see currently they are under new ownership, and in Arizona.

Why the short barrel ? Hope You?We get to keep them. Just saw that Bipartisan RED FLAG" Laws are Going good. That's BAD NEWS ! Hopefully the 9MM Thing Will Drown.

Thank you, sir! I really appreciate that. 🙏
Ya know, I like the group that they're with to include Surgeon & McMillan.
I would love for you to be able to handle and shoot one of their 3 Gun Rifles, in particular this AR10 version. I think you would really love it. Tommy Thacker did a heliuva job imo. It's just a darn good package imo.

Congratulations, looks like a excellent buy. Never owned a AR-10 myself until this year with all the crazy stuff happening putting together two of them a .308 and 6.5.

I’m an Armalite junkie, I’ve had at least one since ‘99 or there about. I finally burnt the barrel in my T, it was more accurate than my custom built bolt gun. That barrel had a Lother Walther on it, I replaced it with another LW.
