I've had no complaints when using the E2 grip(s) on my similar P229R (legacy version) but appreciate POST 1's handiness in getting the screw holes precisely in the right places. I switch back & forth with my grips depending on my mood.

I also noticed the OP also has the mag catch reversed. Even though I'm right-handed, I reversed my mag catch as my left support-hand will depress the mag catch while I'm gripping & shooting. Instead of filing/grinding/polishing down the mag catch, I found it easier merely to reverse the mag catch. There was no problem for me to get used to the reversed orientation as it's really similar for a right-handed person when operating a standard AR-15 rifle's mag catch (which I'm also accustomed to using).

Post 4,
I don't have any problems with my E2 grips, but don't know how many times I've taken them off and put them back on (maybe only 5x, I estimate).
