My P365 set up and 100% carry methods

I carry a Wilson Combat short grip module with the tungsten weights installed. Standard sights, trigger, ect. I use the 10 round magazines with the Magguts +2 extension. It adds just enough length that I can get a full firing grip and makes this a tiny 13 round pistol! I have had nothing but great luck with all the Magguts systems I’ve used on the 42 and 43. I have almost 600 rounds through one of my magazines I have marked and set aside for training only and they have all been 100%. During my 40 hours I carry my pistol and one 12 round spare magazine in a Smart Carry deep concealment holster. I also use this holster often on my walks and to the gym. It is a slower draw, but not as slow as the distance to your vehicle. I do train with drawing from it weekly. It is not as slow as one would think once you get the technique down. I will also say that it is the most comfortable holster I’ve ever tried. When I’m at home in gym shorts this is how I carry it most of the time. The holster when out and about is a 3 Speed Holster. I ordered one with zero cant and carry the muzzle down the groove of my hip. This is also very comfortable and it a much quicker draw. The backing of the holster opens inward and gives your thumb plenty of leverage and room to get a full firing grip with the pistol still holstered. The muscle memory of digging your thumb comes quickly and it is a very quick and secure platform to draw from. It is independent of your belt so that you can adjust it to the most comfort behind the belt of your pants. In reality to can be used in every situation the Smart Carry is good for but sacrifices comfort and bulk for much more speed.
I go through a dry fire exercise every other day. I use both holsters each time and just go with whatever I think of at the time. I work for 15 minutes. I run mag changes. I draw from seated in the car. I draw from my back. Always focusing on getting a flash sight picture and smooth squeeze, firm grip, positive movement. This has all been a part of a New Years resolution to get more serious in just about every aspect of my life. I have carried every day since I discovered the Glock 42 and smart carry combination in 2014. I’ve tried many different pistols and carry methods. This Sig Sauer “WCP365” is about the same footprint but is 13 rounds of 9mm instead of my Magguts 7+1. The weighted WCP365 is 20.4 ounces on my scale empty with Magguts kit. That is 1.1 ounces lighter than the Glock 26. I believe it shoots softer. This grip module fills the hand and provides plenty of traction. There is so much that there are a couple of hot spots I’m going to apply some rubber talon peaces to. This gun can be unloaded quickly and on target at a reasonable distance all day long without recoil discomfort. I tried the Glock 43 3 times. I was a Glock fan boy died in the wool and I could not shoot it to my standards to save my life. I had to choose between speed or accuracy. The hogue grip helped tremendously but was like a sticky holster drawing it from the Smart Carry in gym shorts. The weighted 365 is more balanced and soaks up so much more recoil over the OEM module. It has to be shot to believed. I am now carrying the holy grail of concealed carry handguns. The stupid pro mag 32 round magazine even works for this thing. I laughed hysterically. It has made me excited to train with because it just shoots so well!! It feels more like a Glock 42 than it does a 43 IN MY HANDS. Your mileage will definitely vary from that but there is no other way I can think of to drive that point home. The whole personally of the pistol changes with that grip. It’s a tiny combat pistol. It really is. The WC grip is so much more substantial looking and feeling that it’s hard to call it a micro nine in the true sense of the term as defined by the OG 365. It’s more of a svelte subcompact. Making it a 12 round pistol by adding 1/8th of an inch Magguts kit is just icing on the cake. It breaks the magic number the liberals hate and allows for more gun to draw and hold on to. I believe the frame rails, slide, and barrel appear to be generously overbuilt in comparison with a Glock 43. If I had one gripe I do not prefer combat sighted pistols. I want a 6 o clock hold. I may go with a Tru glo TFX pro or trijicon hd xr front sight to change that hold. Overall I could not be happier with having a pistol I will always have on me that is at the same time 25 rounds of 9mm with one spare mag and it an absolute pleasure to shoot.

I’ve not tried the magguts extensions, I like the sig 12 round with pinky, I find it’s actually longer than a pm xl 12 round, then add a grip sleeve and it’s awesome.

I put Magguts +1 spring kits in my Kahr magazines with No issues. Function has been flawless.
Since transitioning to a P365X for EDC...I've left the mags for that one alone.

I don't really care for the combat hold either, however, I was pleasantly surprised when the M18 I got was shooting with a more traditional hold.

I have a 365X with WC grip module and a 320 xcompact with one also I love them. I like the setup you have here I might pick up another 365 to buil one like this for when I want a smaller carry. not that the x is much bigger but without the red dot and added length I think it would be easier to carry. How do you like the mag guts?

I have a WC 365X with the weights glued in and I put the grey guns adjustable trigger in my FCU while I had it taken apart. This might be my new favorite pistol to carry other than I haven't landed on the perfect holster yet...

Thinking about a Wilson combat grip module for my P365xl. What makes the Wilson Combat better?

Thank you

It fits the hand much better at least in my opinion. There are plenty of you tube videos on the grips.

I have a WC grip module on my P320 and P365X. On the 320 the difference is night and day the WC is a huge improvement. I feel the p365X is only a slight improvement.
Magguts have been flawless at the range, I run it in my secondary EDC mag.

Mainly because of the weight difference!

A slight swell in the palm, doesn’t look significant, also the “star” pattern with the aggressive texture on the grip..both really create a solid grip, just feels good
