After several weeks of saving I finally ordered a Colt 1908 Pocket Hammerless. It showed up on Tuesday and looks great ! I can't wait to shoot it. I was never very interested in them but a few weeks ago I was watching "The Maltese Falcon" (one of my favorite movies) when I saw Peter Lorre (one of my favorite actors) pull one on Humphrey Bogart . I decided then that I had to have one.

The one I selected was made in 1921. It's not my oldest gun but in addition to being my first 1908 and first pistol in .25ACP there is something else special about it. This is my first John Browning design made while he was still alive. Otherwise my next youngest JMB design is my 1903 made in 1940

I love those old pocket pistols, they're like owning a piece of history.
