Mine does that too. I’m not sure if that’s normal for all of them or not. I haven’t taken the time to see if it’s fixable yet, but I’ll try to take a look at it and see if there’s any way to tighten it up.

That’s a much better plan than my suggestion of trying to bend it a hair.using a small o-ring to minimize or eliminate the play.
On that tiny little shaft…. Um….In the picture above. It would sandwich between the hand guard shaft base and the upper receiver orifice. All great info. So where to you place the o-ring specifically? Anybody had success with that method?
I just tried it. It definitely tightens it up. The o ring for an ar15 extractor works pretty well. The CZ grip screw o ring that I tried first was a bit too thin. All great info. So where to you place the o-ring specifically? Anybody had success with that method?
Great to hear. Going to order up a few ar15 extractors and give this a try.I just tried it. It definitely tightens it up. The o ring for an ar15 extractor works pretty well. The CZ grip screw o ring that I tried first was a bit too thin.
Yeah, another good idea. Thanks for sharing!I secured mine with a Surefire SR07 tape switch that mounts to picatinny. I bridged it from the receiver to the rail. It’s a decent temporary fix, especially since I was already running the light and tape switch on there anyway. You could do the same thing with Picatinny ladder covers too.
