That was just about perfect placement but that has more to do with luck then anything. Got him from about 40 yards in the brush.
Had him quartered and kept the ribs but wild hogs don't have much meat compared to what you are used to getting at the market. I'll try to remember to take a picture in the morning when I open the smoker.
