Skip to the end of the thread for the latest QRCs

I've only been shooting dots for a short while, but it occurred to me a printed “Quick Reference Card” (QRC) I could keep in my range bag might be handy to have for my optic. I made a version for the Romeo 1 Pro, and wanted to share it in case anyone found it useful.

The QRC is designed to be printed, cut out, then folded once, to form a pocket or range bag sized 3" x 5" card with helpful reference information about the optic.

Features

Each QRC includes:
  • Common user controls
  • Battery type and install direction
  • A 1" grid to help estimate group sizes
  • Plus additional information such as MOA sizes, customer service information, and more.

Instructions

To print a QRC:
  • Download the attached PDF and print normal size
  • Cut it out and fold it over on itself
  • Place in range bag or pocket for quick reference

Disclaimers:

Information on this QRC was sourced online, mainly the Sig Romeo 1 Pro Manual, file 20SIG3019_ROMEO1PRO_Manual_7401786-01REV02_HR. Any errors are 100% my own. If you see an error or useful information that could be added, please let me know.

QRC for Download is at the attachment; qrc_sig_r1p_v5.pdf.

I also made QRCs for the Holosun 507c/507k, 509T, Trijicon RMR, Leupold DPP and Aimpoint ACRO MRDS optice, as well. If anyone is interested in one of those, let me know and I can post it also.

I know there are a few Romeo 0 shooters here on Sig Talk, so I made a QRC for the R0.

This revision 6 incorporates a few changes, to include a "centimeter" based grid on page 2, to go with the "inch" based grid on the first page, as well as specifying the MRDS footpring (Shield RMS-C) the R0 uses.

Download via the attachment, and print / cut / fold as usual.

Would be interested in RMR and Acro cards.
Give me a day or so. I am in the process of editing my current set of QRCs (Holosun, Trij, Leupold, Sig, Aimpoint) to the new grid pattern. I'll do the RMR and Acro first.

Here is the RMR QRC. I don't have an RMR, so would be grateful if you could proof read this for errors. It's "general", but targeted to be applicable to RMRs in general, using information extracted from the User Manual available online.

I've refreshed the set of these to a new "Revision 8" with a standard disclaimer and some editorial updates.

Unlimited verbatim copy and distribution is permitted. Information is adapted from OEM sources, but is not verified nor endorsed by any OEM. No liability for use is assumed, and the user is advised to verify any content against manufacturer documentation.

If anyone is interested in a particular one, let me know. I have the following available:

How can I download the Holosun Card?
I ended up with a few combinations of the Holosun cards, since they make a small and large form factor, as well as 407 and 507 (dot only vs. dot/circle/circle-dot).

My guess is the one in the attachment to this post is probably the most common pairing. I have a 507c on my USPSA pistol, and I had a 507k briefly for a slim carry gun, before going back to a double stack (and another 507c). So this is the one I used the most.

This QRC is therefore for the 507k (small, multi-reticle) and 507c (large, multi reticle). Just download and print full size, then fold-over:

This is an uplift Mini Red Dot Sight (MRDS) Quick Reference Card Series (QRC) to Revision 9.

tl;dr: To make a QRC, skip down to posts with the PDFs. Download your selected MRDS and print it without scaling. Cut out and fold over.

Release Notes:

Rev 9 QRCs include:

1. A new Desert Tan design layout
2. An additional, optic-specific, MOA Zeroing Grid in addition to the 1.0” General Purpose Grid.
3. Larger 10 point font for better readability
4. All QRC PDFs exported 2 to a page

New to Rev 9 is the Sig Sauer ROMEO3MAX.
Sample:

Note: Do not download and print this image. It is clipped and at low quality. Download and print the PDFs, below.

Expanded Release Notes

All QRCs have been refactored in the new Desert Tan layout. If you print in black and white, the Desert Tan will just resolve to a neutral gray shade, preserving contrast with the grid lines. Wording throughout has been streamlined to reduce clutter and increase clarity. QRCs now include the MRDS Footprint standard that it's base is made to.

The current Rev 9s cover the top 5, or 80%, of the most frequently used MRDS sights in USPSA Carry Optics competition, based on the USPSA 2021 Annual Issue, Volume 38, CO Equipment Survey, page 46.

Ten QRCs are currently available to Rev 9:

1. Holosun 507c
2. Holosun 507k
3. Aimpoint ACRO P-2
4. Leupold DeltaPoint Pro
5. Trijicon RMR
6. Trijicon RMRcc
7. Trijicon SRO
8. Sig Sauer ROMEO1PRO
9. Sig Sauer ROMEO3MAX
10. Vortex Venom

If your MRDS is not listed, please comment below, and I will see if I can construct one for you. Also, if you discover any errors, or significant omissions, please let me know.

Background

These MRDS QRCs are an on-going project of mine to provide me with a convenient snapshot of the key controls on my red dot (HS 507c). I created QRCs for MRDS sights I do not own, out of sharing the concept for folks who have expressed an interest in having one. I do not sell or receive any compensation for making these.

Registered Trademarks (if known) are indicated per the respective sight manufacturers, and so marked on each QRC. Unlimited verbatim copy and distribution is permitted. Information is adapted from OEM sources, but is not verified nor endorsed by any OEM. No liability for use is assumed. The user is advised to verify any content against manufacturer documentation.

Quick Reference Cards

All current Rev 9 QRCs will be attached in the next few posts. To make a QRC, download the selected PDF, and print WITH NO SCALING. Cut out and fold to create a 3”x5” for pocket or range bag.

After creating your QRC, you should end up with something like this:
