Hope everyone has had a great Memorial Day Weekend!
(1968 S Prefix Smith & Wesson 27-2 3.5")
Reckon its best to be clear as some people just.....well, at any rate, I hope everyone has enjoyed their freedom that our vets made the Ultimate Sacrifice for.

I never say no to a three-day weekend, but just FYI it's never "Happy Memorial Day". It's supposed to be a somber day of remembrance, but of course most of today's society only looks at it as an extra day off so they can go camping, BBQing or shopping.

I spent Day 1 shooting, Day 2 visiting family and Day 3 buying more ammo to replace what I shot up. I was going to visit the National Cemetery to put some flowers on my dad's gravesite but we had heavy downpours all weekend long, so it'll have to wait for Father's Day instead.

Wow.......you really thought I meant it like that?
I'm not even sure how to respond. What I meant is that I hope people are enjoying the freedoms that our veterans made the Ultimate Sacrifice for.....
Good grief....
Nothin bugs me more than the phrase “happy memorial day”. This is a solem day where we remember those that have fallen. The word “happy” has nothing to do with it.

Reminds me of my high polished 686.

Sigke just change the thread title is all that’s needed.
Yes we appreciate the solemn sacrifice that was made.

Sigke, very nice 27-2 you have there. I have one waiting at the FFL for me that I just bought. A five incher is being delivered to the FFL today. They are addicting! Revolvers are coming back in style you know. Old classics are hard to find now.

Wow! That & 3.5" are both awesome.
Congratulations!
Man, I'm so kickin myself for selling that un-fired 6" I had! But, I really love that 3.5"
What I would love to have next is a 5" like yours
I think those are the two most desirable besides the 6.5" 29
The older one are just absolute works of art by real craftsmen. Took years for them to learn those skills from what I understand. They are just incredibly beautiful!

I realize this is an Old Thread. This thread, and ones like it maybe shouldn't time out? I hope this is ok Mods' and Admins, but I feel moved to post it here anyway. I believe It's appropriate.
