It'd better have an ambi bolt release, that's all I care about.

The funny thing to me is the Virtus is about a pound heavier than the legacy.SIG has the latest MCX manual out that has illustrations of what might be Gen 3 MCX parts as some parts shown in diagrams are not in current MCXs.
There isn't any time line on when the Gen 3 MCX will be out. The Gen 3 will be a pound lighter than the Virtus, be able to use mil-spec triggers and have an even sturdier rail than the Virtus.
My view is that SIG is trying to sell Virtus parts to get ready for Gen. 3 MCXs. The pound lighter Gen 3 will have a lighter barrel than the Virtus. Hence, SIG has Virtus uppers for sale that will get rid of Virtus barrels and handguards to get ready for the next generation's changes.
Bill
I have a black LE Virtus with 16 inch and chrome lined 11.5” barrel I’ve been thinking of selling (fantastic shooter, just need the funds for a medical bill). Were you still interested?I am considering an LE Virtus in 16 inch. Part of me wants to wait but I love the LE version that has the Chromelined barrel.
Man it’s to bad you didn’t send this a week ago. I would’ve done it. I already got the 16 inch LEI have a black LE Virtus with 16 inch and chrome lined 11.5” barrel I’ve been thinking of selling (fantastic shooter, just need the funds for a medical bill). Were you still interested?
