If you mean the 12" hand guard that comes with the Patrol's 16" barrel then no. The standard hand guard is not wide enough for most suppressors.
If you mean the hand guard that comes with the 11.5" barrel, then it's short enough that it won't interfere with a suppressor (but still not wide enough to cover a suppressor if you shortened the barrel).
OK, thanks. The point of the question might verge on the silly but here is what I was wondering: If there was a way to fit an 11.5" MCX with a Sig silencer using the regular handguard. Since the barrel is 4.5" shorter I thought there might be enough room to fit a Sig QD suppressor and be able to use the regular width guard - even if the suppressor had to go on last.
Less to swap, same feel, etc., is what I was trying to figure out. Not a big deal but I was seeing if I could streamline it just a bit. Fool's errand? Otherwise I'll have an excuse to try one of the Lancer MLok guards.
