Just got an ad in my in-box for this new M400. It is nice! Didn't see a price.

Is the Switchblade new and hard to find or discontinued and harder to find? Only one on gunbroker for $2399 which seems kinda high.
What gives?

The Switchblade should be coming back for 2022 without the "Switchblade" label but has the SDI 11.5" Pistol and soon the 16" all Black SDI Patrol will drop. I can't wait.

Here's a bit of Switchblade love.

The M400 SDI pistol was $1399. The M400 SDI Patrol will probably be the same price or $1499. The M400 SDI DH3 will probably be $1799-$1899 IMO subject to the typical few hundred dollar retailer variances. The trigger, stock, compensator, SS barrel and lightweight SDI (top clamped in-between the barrel nut threads for more rigidity) handguard makes it very unique and pricey. DH3 literally said it's the same gun he won the championship with. For me, the more simple SDI Patrol is where it is at. The Titanium finish on my SDI pistol is loud IMO.

It looks as if anything SIG labels SDI represents there best quality DI AR offering. I'm hoping they SDI a 716I.

Exactly! I have a future 516G2 14.5" SBR build that could use this lower though I'd rather keep the SDI Patrol complete but the 516G2's take precedence IMO.

I need to contact SIG and ask for an SDI lower receiver only product offering. I'm sure they already know it will sell like hotcakes.
For yall that like the new Sig DH3, check out the Armalite 3 Gun/Competition Rifle
Looks like a better option to me.
Armalite has awesome stainless steel competition barrels, plus it has a Luth MBA-1 Stock, Raptor Charging Handle, Timney 3 pound Trigger, Adjustable Gas Block, and Tunable Muzzle Break and still lighter than the Sig at 6.6 lbs

I have seen this rifle on the Sig site. I am really thinking about getting it. I wish there was more information on the forum about it.

What do you need to know beyond what is on Sigs website? It’s a AR-15.. they all function basically the same. It’s just got different parts that are described on the site.

If it helps google Daniel Horner and look at the guys stats at winning competitions. This is the rifle he designed to his specs and the rifle he uses to spank many shooters better than most in competitive shooting matches. He's used this rifle and tweaked it over the years to what it is now, a superior beast of an AR.

Like you said, it’s a competition rifle. Not meant to go out and shoot coyote or prairie dogs. While you could, it would be a waste of money. If a person is looking for a light weight competition gun, this would do well.
